We are proud to announce a significant milestone for our company and the local industry. On December 28, 2012, the Qingdao Plastics Industry Association was officially established at a grand ceremony held at the Regent Hotel. We are honored to share that our General Manager, Mr. Xie Kongzhu, was elected as the Vice President of the newly formed association during this inaugural meeting.

The establishment of the association marks a pivotal moment for the Qingdao plastics sector. The founding members consist of 86 large-scale enterprises, each with an annual revenue exceeding 5 million RMB. With the support of the Shandong Provincial Plastics Industry Association and the Qingdao Municipal Economic and Information Technology Commission, the new body aims to drive the integration of production, education, and research within the industry.

This leadership role underscores Qingdao Tiansu Petrochemical's standing as a key player in a rapidly growing market. According to official statistics, the total output value of the Qingdao plastics industry reached 23.1 billion RMB in 2011, showing a strong upward trend from 17.27 billion RMB in 2009. Currently, the region is home to over 230 industrial-scale plastic product manufacturers (excluding raw material and machinery suppliers) and employs approximately 29,000 people.

As Vice President, Mr. Xie Kongzhu will work alongside other industry leaders to foster collaboration, promote technological innovation, and strengthen the competitiveness of Qingdao’s plastics supply chain on both domestic and international stages. This appointment reaffirms our commitment to excellence and our active role in shaping the future of the industry.
